The traditional "Savon de Marseille" is made from Olive oil only.

Naturally scented with essential oils of tea tree, eucalyptus, and citronella and enriched with  French green clay to draw toxins out.
A very popular clean and herbal scent with citrus notes.
Olive oil creates the most gentle soaps, non-drying, with a silky & conditioning lather, Olive oil soaps don't produce a lot of bubbles. However, the lather improves with age, it is why we let this soap dry for 3 months before selling it.
Olive oil soaps are so gentle, they can be used for the face!

Traditionally, Le Savon de Marseille was made unscented in the south of France. With time, essential oils, clays, and herbs have been added to the recipe for extra scent and colors.

Skin benefits of olive oil:
Olive oil provides the most gentle and moisturizing soaps. This oil well known for its healthy properties in cuisine is also a wonderful ingredient for the skin. Rich in vitamin E and A, oleic acid, anti-aging antioxidants and hydrating squalene, making it superb for hair, skin, and nails. At home, you can use your olive oil, to moisturize your skin and even make a mask for your hair.
In Soap, Olive oil makes a very gentle and non-drying cleanser and has a low risk of allergic reaction. It makes a very hard and long lasting soap and provides a silky and moisturizing lather, however, olive oil is not the champion when it comes to bubbly and foamy lather. Olive oil soaps require at least 3 months to cure and will last a very long time.
Our olive oil is certified organic and extra virgin to ensure the purest ingredients free of added chemicals used in the process of bleaching or deodorizing oils and butters.

DID YOU KNOW? Olive oil is rich in Oleic acid, a natural fatty acid also produced by your skin to create its sebum, necessary to lubricate and protect the skin. Your skin produces other fatty acids to create the sebum, each of them with different roles.
